LYZ LUIDENS | DETROIT ATLAS COLLABORATION

Lyz is a teaching artist and printmaker living in the Brick and Mortar Collective on Detroit’s North End. Lyz has been living in Detroit for four years, and is originally from West Michigan. Lyz is interested in decolonizing teaching practices and spaces, and sharing her love of art and printmaking through education. 

 
ALEX HILL | DETROITography

Alex has more than 10 years of experience working with organizations on projects and campaigns that impact policies and communities. As a data nerd and anthropologist, Alex finds meaningful stories to tell whether he’s sifting through spreadsheets or interviewing people. Alex is able to combine human experiences with data and analytics to elevate strategies for all types of organizations. When Alex isn’t working, he can be found making maps of Detroit. Alex's personal research is focused on food access, racial justice, and health disparities.

 
 AMANDA HARREL-SEYBURN, ASSOC. AIA | CURATOR

Amanda Harrell-Seyburn is an award-winning designer with a diverse portfolio and expertise in places and spaces for the visual arts. Amanda is an associate at ‘east arbor architecture,’ a design studio located in East Lansing. Amanda is also director and curator of the ‘+gallery,’ a contemporary art space at the ‘east arbor architecture’ studio. Amanda’s experience ranges from the art galleries of London’s East End to the studios of Michigan’s prominent architects. She is a Louise Blanchard Bethune Fellow of the American Institute of Architects.
