In an effort to express our deep appreciation and give recognition to our
supporters, AIA Michigan has created the Partners Forum. While
many companies give financial support to individual AIAMI programs, some
companies support several programs throughout the year, representing significant
cumulative contributions. Partners Forum recognizes those generous
cumulative contributions and offers expanded recognition of the contributors.
For example, a company that contributes $2,500 to three separate events
within one year gives a cumulative annual contribution of $7,500. That company
would be designated as a member of Partners Forum – Associate Partner.
In addition to receiving the recognition offered by sponsoring specific
events, Partners Forum members receive further benefits and
recognition commensurate with the total contributions made within a
calendar year as outlined within these web pages.
Partners Forum
members may designate specific programs/events
they wish to sponsor, or they may give financial support which can be assigned
by AIAMI leadership based upon programmatic needs.
In addition to recognition before the 1,800 members, Partners Forum
members are invited and encouraged to interact on a regular basis with AIAMI
leaders regarding issues facing the architectural profession and the
construction industry. AIAMI board meetings, committee meetings, leadership
events and roundtable discussions will provide opportunities for AIAMI leaders
and Partners to exchange ideas, tackle industry problems and address
professional concerns.
The term "partnership" implies mutual cooperation and
responsibility, to the benefit of each partner.
AIA Michigan benefits from the financial support of Partners, and,
more importantly, gains a broader perspective and fresh ideas. On the flip side,
Partners have a first-hand opportunity to demonstrate support of the
architectural profession as well as interact with architects, sharing ideas and
getting to know them better. In many cases, this is a wonderful opportunity for Partners
to establish or strengthen personal relationships with architects.
