Jury Comment:
We all admired the way in which the large
urban"block" of program space has been cut away and carved a way to create
a wonderful semi- public civic space which opens up to and captures the
urban park on its southeast corner
The detailing is clear and simple, revealing the elegance of its steel
frame and curtain wall construction.
Restrained but elegant use of steel. The structure, although substantial,
creates a wonderful lacy wrap.
