Detroit West Riverfront Visioning Plan
Detroit, MI
Jury Comment:
Great big ideas. The connection with the
existing buildings, plaza and convention center. Excellent design of
pedestrian space along with new development works for commercial and
residential.
2. Strong directions to a large urban area with a great variety of uses
and situations.
3. This is urban design at its most effective - it creates a community
asset, amenity and identity which will foster new development in a much
needed area of Detroit. It gives citizens and resident a reason to come
back to the city.
