Jury Comment:
Rich, thoughtful and careful in its
detailing, this interior creates a tour de force of sensual materiality.
The new materials complement the existing walls, floors and ceiling with a
whole new level of sophistication bordering on being overdone.
The interiors work is particularly sensitive and works well within its
context. The Victorian homes and buildings of Northville. The architect's
did a great job of designing interiors which complement that tradition in
a modern vernacular.
Good integration of a old and new, where the new pushes the old.
