2005 AIA Michigan Design Honor Award

Saginaw Art Museum
Saginaw, MI
Jury Comment:
Wonderfully elegant building, beautiful
detailing...works surprisingly well in terms of scale, proportion &
materials with the existing Georgian house.
There is a wonderful energy created between the old and the new - both
benefit from the other's presence.
It is rare to have such contrasting aesthetics complement each other in
such a hauntingly beautiful way - this project is just brilliant.
