Jury Comment:
This project makes a strong attempt to be
contextual to its agricultural environment. The jury was concerned with
the project bordering on being too thematic.
Looking at it from the kid's perspective, I think that they would love the
space. Most of the project is simple in terms of form and materials. Comes
a little close to being overdone at entry, otherwise well planned and
designed.
The idea of using "farm vernacular" as the architectural vocabulary is not
new but well done, giving a delightful integrity to the whole project.
