Design build Golf Tournament 2005

Tournament Format
The tournament format is a four person scramble. Individuals that register will be assigned to a group. There are two parallel competitions for awards and prizes.
FLIGHT COMPETITION

Your foursome will predict your score prior to tee off. Your team will be assigned to one of four flights based on your predict ion. The winner of each flight will be the team with the closest to the predicted score. Ties within each flight will be broken by low predicted score. Overall winner will be determined on the putting green. Mulligans are not permitted unless you purchase them at the hole you are playing.

THE F. GORDON PICKELL* CUP TEAM COMPETITION

A new tradition has emerged in the Michigan Architectural Foundation Golf Tournament - the team competition using a modified Stableford point format and a team shoot-out. It is modeled on the Ryder Cup, coming to Oakland Hills in 2004. The entire field of players will be divided by geography. A team will represent the northern part of the state (Blue Team) and the southern part (Red Team) divided by counties. Each year, the team names will be recorded in the Pickell Cup, and the captains recorded on the Cup.

This year's captains are:
Red Team Captain - Mark Millich
Blue Team Captain - TBA

*Gordon F. Pickell was the first AIA Michigan President in 1912

CLOSEST TO THE PIN / LONGEST DRIVE
One hole on each nine will be chosen. Mulligans may be purchased at the hole. (Your Mulligans are tax deductible.)
