Who We Are
Established as a 2007 AIA Detroit Committee, Derek Roberts
created this group to address the needs and interests of local
associate and newly licensed architects. Committee members
are hand-selected by local chapter architectural firms and
represent some of the region's best and brightest emerging
architects. |

Our
Mission “Cultivating, counseling and celebrating Detroit’s emerging
professionals.” The AIA Detroit Chapter Emerging
Professionals Committee is committed to the professional,
social, and public advancement of AIA Associate and newly
licensed members. We provide these advancement
opportunities through workshops, events, and community outreach.
