A Message from the President:
 

On April 13th I received a request from a member to address the selection of URS and HOK as the lead engineers/architects for the M-I Rail System to be located on Woodward Ave in Detroit.

These two out of state firms were selected by the Downtown Detroit Partnership (DDP). On April 27th I sent a letter to Roger Penske of DDP and Doug Rothwell of Detroit Renaissance addressing this concern. On May 5th I informed all of you about this situation and copied you on the letter to Roger Penske.  ... .
